I'm unable to connect to Opera VPN Pro servers via Android device. What can I do?

If you are experiencing any connection issues with Opera VPN Pro, try the following steps:

  1. Try switching to a few different Opera VPN Pro locations.
  2. Go to VPN settings on your device (not in Opera). Disconnect Opera VPN and reconnect.
  3. Switch to another network (e.g., If using Wi-Fi, try switching to cellular).
  4. Reboot your device.
  5. In the VPN Pro app, log out of your account and log back in. Try connecting again.
  6. Try connecting a different device on the same network to find out whether the issue is caused by the network or the device. For example, if you're unable to connect your Android phone, try another Android phone. If both can't connect, the problem is with your network. If your second Android device connects successfully, there's something wrong with the configuration on your phone. In either case, you can contact Opera VPN Pro Customer Support for help.
  7. If none of the above work, uninstall the app, reboot your device, and install the app again. Try connecting once more. Bear in mind, uninstalling and reinstalling the app will remove all related data that isn't synced through your Opera account.

If the problem persists despite following all of the above steps, contact us via chat or submit a ticket to our support team. You can also email us at vpn-pro@support.opera.com.
